Bob Shepherd’s voice will be missed. I hope the Yankees’ power that be give him a retired party meant for a king. He is the voice of the Yankees and no one will ever take his place.
I respect Bob Sheppard, but I’m a Dodgers fan and I really believe Eric Smith is the best P.A. anouncer currently, that is until Axl Rose decides to do P.A.
wow, thats enough to make a grown man cry…
I’ll never forget the day Bob Sheppard announced my name…

I’m a Red Sox fan, but I have to tip my cap to that Yankee. What a voice. No way they can replace him.

Eric Smith? Are you nuts? Everyone knows Alex Anthony is the best in the business. My partner Igor, however was partial to Sheppard.
